It seems a little pointless because I know that I can get the important info out on facebook (is there really anyone reading this out there who doesn't know yet that we had a baby in December??) and I keep a journal elsewhere, so it seems repetitive to write things out here again... but I'm still going to attempt to plug along when I remember to & feel like I have a minute to!
So, here was our Christmas Card, that I MEANT to post online with a Christmas Letter (which I never did, so barely anyone saw it, but better late than never, right?)

If you click on it, you can see it large enough to read it.

Here's a picture of our whole new family right around Christmas time. Katrina's skintone emphasizes the paleness of the rest of us... ok, particularly me :/

But, as you can see, she has since lightened up a bit, and is already smiling- such a cutie! Sadly, she has spent some of her first weeks with a nasty cold. It is SO SAD when your 6 week-old loses her voice!
We spent time in December, visiting with Ken's family & relatives visiting for his sister, Rachelle, & Aaron's wedding. During that time, we celebrated Christmas early, & even had a visit from Santa!! Talia loved it.

So, in other news... Ken has started his phd in Toronto, working at a hospital (I forget which one). This means that he makes the commute 2 or 3 times a week most weeks.
So far, life with 2 children is going well & I'm really enjoying it. It is a challenge to get everything done that I want to, but it's going alright :)
We have plans to move to a 3 bedroom townhouse from our 2 bedroom- hurray! That should happen in April, so I'm really excited about that! It means a bigger living room, a bigger backyard, a bigger master bedroom, a nursery for Katrina, & a half bathroom on the main floor! It also means a smaller kitchen, but we will have a dining room, and the girls' bedrooms are each smaller than Talia's current bedroom. But, overall, definitely an improvement. Our address is only changing by one digit as we're just moving down the line of townhouses ;)
Well, those are the big changes around here lately.
Hopefully I'll get on at the end of the month to post pictures from Talia's 3rd birthday party- I have very girly plans for it, & I'm excited ;)
