Plans Foiled by Sleepy Toddler

This evening we were supposed to attend a Christmas get together. Here is the reason we didn't make it:

I had even unpacked 3 boxes to find ingredients to bake a dessert to bring with us. It was sitting all ready on plates, by the door.
I was just about to confirm the address when Ken told me that Talia had just taken a bite, and fallen asleep in her booster seat.

I went over to look & her eyes were barely open. I held my face right next to hers & she said, "Hi Mommy!", then she kissed me, & fell back to sleep!

We were able to get her into a nightgown while she sat there, still buckled in, and she stayed asleep.

She just would not nap today. haha Well, maybe this will help us to get her into an earlier bedtime routine!
